About
Hey There, Nice to Meet You
First off, let me happily welcome you to my new Karmic Security website! I highly doubt you remember the old one, it was a while ago and very messy. This new and improved version will (hopefully) allow me to stay on top of making content and just generally do cooler things.
With all that being said, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kaleb and I am an Air Force intel veteran and cybersecurity professional. My focus is on threat hunting, detection engineering, threat intelligence and system adminy type things.

My Background
I served in the intelligence community for over 5 years, working multiple different missions and doing lots of things. I’ve dabbled in network troubleshooting and data flow analysis, security operations work and functioning as a sys admin/programmer in the enterprise support devision .I have my bachelors in Cyber Operations, am working towards my masters in Cyber Security at Georgia Tech and possess a few certifications to include:
-
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
-
Security+
-
Linux+
-
Cybersecurity Analyst+
-
Cisco Certified Network Associate
-
Certified Ethical Hacker
-
Red Hat Certified System Admin
Right now I’m interning with Cisco and have one semester left of that masters. There’s a few certifications I’ve got my eyes on here for the next year or so, but we’ll get there when we get there. I haven’t been as good at posting due to my ongoing transition out of the military and coursework, but that should be getting better here soon.
I’m hoping this site can be a good resource for people to reference and maybe can be a good demonstration of my skill set. Thank you for taking the time to peruse this little section here and enjoy your stay on my web site!
